This programme was targeted at strengthening young girls and women empowerment and inclusion in Nigeria’s socio-economic and democratic processes through the coordinated three-folds of entrepreneurship, advocacy and technology for an enriched and inclusive empowerment of women in communities in Nigeria.
Entrepreneurship elements avail the women to attain self sufficiency through business skills acquisition and implementation; advocacy elements equip the women with resources to demand and obtain, through sustained dialogue and civil activities, their rights and all that pertains to their wellbeing.
The technology elements are tools, and enablers, that will expand and enhance the capacity of the women to leverage technology advancement to creatively engage their environment for self-substance and empowerment of other women in a sustainable manner. The unique selling point in the HEAT programme is the harmonization and coordination of the three aspects of the programme to maximize the outcome and impact.
