Programme Introduction

Discover contemporary issues in transformational leadership and global governance with our professor of leadership, followed by networking activities with a range of seasoned top leaders and executives. This experience will include study visits to a range of organisations, and live tours of institutions, and conclude with peer reviews and free consultancy input on the specific issues and challenges currently faced by participants.

Programme Objectives

By the end of the programme, participants will be able to:

  • Apply core leadership principles and governance structures within their organisation
  • Understand corporate governance, regulatory compliance and risk management
  • Recognise global trends in corporate governance and their implications for accountability and transparency
  • Learn from institutional study visits to government bodies, corporate governance bodies and leadership development organisations
  • Apply ethical leadership practice across public and private sector contexts
  • Develop a practical leadership action plan and strategy for their organisation.

Day 1 — Leadership Principles and Governance Structures
Day 2 — Global Trends in Corporate Governance, Compliance and Risk Management
Day 3 — Study Tour: Leadership and Governance Best Practice
Day 4 — Ethical Leadership in Public and Private Sectors
Day 5 — Action Planning.

The programme will be delivered in London and Oxford, including sessions at:

• Selected UK executive, academic, innovation or institutional venues, including London and Oxford locations, subject to final programme arrangements
