RETIRING PREPARED

As workers mature, approaching retirement, they require systematic pieces of information on diverse retirement-related issues like financial literacy, human capital investment and productivity, places of work where retired people stand beer chance of re-engagement, skills and abilities required for continued employability, etc. Workers need these and more in order to help them effectively plan for their future, and thereby enhance their retirement transition. Retiring Prepared, is a three-day pre-retirement workshop that gives those nearing retirement the opportunity to learn how to successfully transition to this next life phase. The workshop provides a beer understanding of what to expect from the transition, thus decreasing stress and anxiety.

2. Develop strategies to identify appropriate standards of living post retirement and learn how to cope with fluctuating inflation, changes in health, etc.
3. Prepare internal and external support system previously provided through the workplace.
4. Assess, develop, and refine their retirement plans.
5. Develop a personalised action plan with clear steps toward achieving their retirement goals
